Palm Island and Petit Saint Vincent — two private resort islands on the southern edge of the chain.

Best time to sail
December through July. Both resorts are quieter in June–July and offer better availability for non-resort dining.
On the southern edge of the Grenadines, two small private islands sit a mile apart: Palm Island, a 135-acre resort island with five sandy beaches and a single hotel, and Petit Saint Vincent (PSV), a 115-acre private resort with no roads and no telephones in the cottages. Both are reached only by yacht or by tender from Union Island. Both welcome non-resort guests at the bar and restaurant on advance reservation.
Charters anchor off Palm Island's leeward beach in two metres of water — the best swim of the trip. PSV has its own anchorage at Atlantic Beach on the windward side. Both restaurants are open to yacht guests for lunch or dinner with a phone call ahead. Either island makes a perfect quiet stop between Union and a return north toward Canouan.
PSV in particular is the kind of place guests remember — a hand-painted sign system at the cottages (raise the yellow flag for a drink, the red flag for privacy), no music in the dining room, no phones, a single beach restaurant on stilts. The pace is intentionally slow.
Anchorages
Palm Island Beach
Anchorage in two metres of clear water off the resort's leeward beach. Five sandy beaches on the island; the swim ashore is the easy point of arrival.
PSV Atlantic Beach
Windward anchorage on settled-trade days — long arc of sand, no music, no nearby roads. A handful of moorings for visitors.
Mopion Sandbar
A tiny circle of sand with a single thatched parasol, halfway between PSV and Petit Martinique. The smallest 'island' in the Grenadines and the best photo of the day.
Ashore
Palm Island Resort
Resort restaurant and beach bar open to yacht guests by reservation. Long lunches, fresh fish, the easiest meal ashore in the southern Grenadines.
PSV Restaurant
The signature dining room of Petit Saint Vincent — open for non-resort guests on advance reservation. The best dinner ashore on a southern-Grenadines week.
Mopion Picnic
We tender out to Mopion's tiny sand circle for a champagne picnic on a settled day — the chef provisions a basket, the crew sets up the parasol, and you have an hour or two of total seclusion.
