RexSailing is a small, privately-operated charter business based at Marina Puerto Bahía (Marina Puerto Bahía) — the most protected natural lagoon on Samaná's sheltered south-east coast. Our fleet is two classic sailing yachts — Cap II, a 77-foot CNB flagship, and Flying Wing, a 75-foot sister yacht — kept at Marina Puerto Bahía December through May so every itinerary starts with a productive sailing day along the Samaná coast.
We work with a small number of travel advisors, hotel concierges, and yacht brokers who know the Caribbean high-end market. If your clients expect a classic sailing yacht, discreet crew, and a Samaná itinerary built around their party, we are built for that conversation.

The fleet is based at Marina Puerto Bahía (Marina Puerto Bahía) — the most protected natural lagoon on Samaná's sheltered south-east coast, with the leeward beaches, Cayo Levantado, and Santa Bárbara de Samaná all within a comfortable day-sail. Every itinerary starts with a productive sailing day from a single, well-equipped base — and, sitting in our winter sailing season, Samaná sails December through May. From mid-December through early April the fleet also migrates north to Samaná Bay (Dominican Republic) for humpback whale season — a parallel, by-booking-only winter chapter.
Commercially insured
Cap II and Flying Wing are fully surveyed and insured for commercial charter with a recognised Caribbean underwriter.

Net rate pricing
Published rates are gross. Net rates for registered travel advisors, concierges, and partners are confirmed per enquiry — standard yacht-charter commission structure (typical MYBA / CYBA terms).
How bookings work
Six stages, from first enquiry to commission payment.

Email advisors@rexsailing.com or WhatsApp with client dates, party size, and preferred charter type.

Proposal
Within one working day we return a personalised proposal with confirmed dates, yacht, net rate, and draft itinerary.
- 03
Hold
Dates are held for seven days while you confirm with your client. Extended holds available on request.
- 04
Booking
30% deposit secures the charter. Final balance 60 days before departure. Commission settled on final payment.
- 05
Onboard
Pre-charter briefing call with the captain, bespoke provisioning, and private transfer to the marina on arrival. We keep you informed throughout.
- 06
Post-charter
Commission paid within 14 days of charter completion. Guest feedback shared with you for your own records.

Frequently asked
What is the commission structure?
Standard yacht-charter commission on the charter fee — terms aligned with MYBA / CYBA conventions used across the industry. Specific percentages for registered advisors are confirmed on application — write to us and we will share our rate sheet.
Do you handle client communication or do we?
Your preference. Most advisors prefer to stay between us and the guest through planning, then introduce direct contact with the captain a week before the charter. We will match whichever flow suits your relationship.
Can we hold dates before client confirmation?
Yes. Seven-day courtesy holds are standard. Longer holds are possible — just ask.
What about pre- and post-charter hotel stays?
We coordinate directly with Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort (Marina Puerto Bahía), Baoase Luxury Resort (Santa Bárbara de Samaná), Sandals Royal Samaná, and Avila Beach Hotel (Las Terrenas) to package charter + stay. We are happy for you to hold the hotel booking and us the charter, or package through one party.
What is included in the charter rate?
Private yacht, full crew, all meals on board prepared by the chef, premium spirits and wine, fuel, moorings, marine and anchorage fees, snorkel kit, paddleboards, kayaks, and private transfer to Marina Puerto Bahía on arrival. Specialty wines, shoreside dining reservations, and port fees at anchorages outside Samaná are billed at cost.
