Our extended variant — same fleet, same all-inclusive rate, but built for guests who want a bigger horizon and real open-water passages. The route works Curaçao's leeward coast, then makes a crossing to one of its ABC neighbours — Bonaire to the east or Aruba to the west — before sailing back. More open-water sailing, more time ashore, and the great advantage of the southern Caribbean: it all happens below the hurricane belt, in steady trades, every month of the year.
Bonaire takes the centre of this week. We sail east from Spanish Water, roughly 30 nm across to the island whose entire coastline is the Bonaire National Marine Park — a no-anchor, mooring-only sanctuary that is the dive capital of the Caribbean. We pick up a park mooring off Kralendijk, snorkel and dive the fringing reef straight off the boat, and run across to the islet of Klein Bonaire for the empty white sand of No Name Beach and the turtles on the reef. The diving here is among the best in the world, accessible from the deck.
From Curaçao the longer down-island run is also within reach. Aruba lies 75 to 90 nm to the west — Eagle Beach and Palm Beach, the open passage along the lee of the islands, and the busiest, brightest of the three. It is a real sail, best with a settled trade-wind window, which we plan around. Both Bonaire and Aruba are separate-island landfalls with their own customs, which we clear for you. Either crossing turns the week into a true island-to-island voyage.
Highlights of this charter
Bonaire National Marine Park
The dive capital of the Caribbean — a mooring-only sanctuary around the whole island. Pick up a park mooring off Kralendijk and snorkel or dive the fringing reef straight off the boat.
Klein Bonaire
The uninhabited islet off Bonaire — No Name Beach's empty white sand, clear shallows, and turtles on the reef. A short hop from the main island, a world away from anywhere.
An open-water crossing
Real sailing east to Bonaire (~30 nm) or the longer run west to Aruba (~75–90 nm) — the open passages of the ABC islands, below the hurricane belt in steady year-round trades.
All-inclusive · same rate
Same yacht, same crew, same provisioning standard as the signature Curaçao week. From $11,750 aboard Flying Wing.

Before you enquire
Is the route fixed?
Suggested route is Spanish Water → the Curaçao leeward beaches → a crossing to Bonaire (2 nights, marine park and Klein Bonaire) → back down the coast. Days bend with weather. Guests can choose the eastern (Bonaire) or the longer western (Aruba) crossing.
Is the diving on Bonaire worth it?
Yes — Bonaire is one of the world's great dive destinations, with reef accessible straight off a park mooring. We carry snorkelling gear; scuba is arranged with a local operator and quoted separately. Klein Bonaire and No Name Beach are highlights even for non-divers.
How is the food on the crossings?
The chef provisions for the open-water legs near Spanish Water and in Willemstad before we leave Curaçao. Ashore, Kralendijk on Bonaire has excellent waterfront restaurants, and Aruba's Palm Beach and Oranjestad have a wide choice we book ahead.
When's the best time?
Any time — the ABC islands sit below the hurricane belt and sail reliably all twelve months. The crossings simply need a settled trade-wind window, which we plan around; the trades are a touch fresher early in the year and gentlest in autumn.
The ABC islands week is the right voyage for guests who want real passages and the dive grounds of Bonaire. Tell us your dates and we will shape the rest.
